What to expect when you visit
Spring
A busy time on the farm! Both our calving season and planting season start in April.
The farm store will be offering specials such as corned beef brining kits, dahlia tuber sales and, for the first time, tulip bunches!
Summer
It’s peak grazing and growing season. If you visit the farmstand (open Thursday - Sunday) you’ll likely see the cattle in a pasture not too far away.
The farmstand itself is full of veggies, beautiful bouquets, a freezer full of beef and space for our value added products as well.
Fall
Bursting with sunflower blooms, our PYO Sunflower Field opens in mid-August through September.
Join us on the farm as we slide into autumn. The farmstand will feature peak fall produce, pumpkins galore, and swoonworthy dalhia bunches.
Winter
As the weather changes, we move to our indoor (heated) farm store (open Friday - Sunday) and open up our holiday barn!
This time of year we offer a selection of holiday greens, local gifts, and of course our staple products that are available year round.
Westview Farm isn’t a trend or a side project. We’re a family-run farm with over 50 years of farming experience, rooted right here in Woodstock, Connecticut.
Farming isn’t just what we do—it’s what we know.
